In partnership with Kizungu Health Centre III, we hosted a free antenatal health camp offering check-ups, iron and folic acid supplementation, and health education on safe delivery and newborn care.
- 152 expectant mothers screened
- 38 children under five received growth monitoring and immunisation
- Health talks on nutrition during pregnancy, delivered in Luganda and English
Several mothers who had never attended a formal antenatal visit were linked to ongoing care at the health centre. Thank you to the volunteer midwives and nurses who gave their Saturday to make this happen.
