Back-to-School Drive Puts Scholastic Materials in 300 Pupils' Hands

A pupil at Konge Primary School with her new exercise books.

As the new school term opened, many families in our community were still struggling to afford basic scholastic materials. Club members spent the past two months collecting donations and organising a distribution day at Konge Primary School.

We handed out exercise books, pens, geometry sets and school bags to 300 pupils across three neighbouring schools, with a particular focus on children from single-parent and low-income households identified by the school administration.

Looking ahead

We are now exploring a mentorship pairing for the P6 and P7 pupils ahead of their national exams. If you would like to volunteer a few hours a term, get in touch with the club.
